Still deciding?

Three things to weigh up when choosing a city

If you're comparing offers from universities in different cities, these practical factors are worth as much thought as the rankings.
  • Cost of living

Rent varies hugely between cities — and between areas of the same city. A cheaper room further out can cost more once you add daily travel.

  • Campus and commute

Some universities sit in one central campus; others are spread across a city. Living close to where your lectures actually are makes every day easier.

  • Community

Large international communities, familiar food and places of worship can make settling in far easier. We'll tell you what each city offers.
